Perhaps because of precedent and the unknown factor surrounding his arrival from Canada, Jerome Messam will be one of the most intriguing Dolphins to watch this summer.

Messam sat down with Jesse Agler to talk about his first impressions of the organization and the adjustments he’s had to make to play in the states.

For starters, he’s having to adapt to the infamous South Florida heat and humidity.

On Sunday, the Dolphins and Cameron Wake agreed to terms on a contract extension through the 2016 season, ending the threat of a potential lengthy holdout.

Wake sat down with Jesse Agler to talk about his new contract and his expectations for the upcoming season. 

It hadn’t really been an issue of if Wake would receive a lucrative extension; it was more of a question of when.

So much for the rookies stealing the spotlight this weekend.

With over 40 players in Davie for the Dolphins first rookie mini-camp under head coach Joe Philbin, reports emerged this morning that LB/DE Cameron Wake has agreed to a contract extension.

Wake was getting ready to enter into the final year of the deal that brought him from the Canadian Football League to the Fins and was widely considered to have out-performed the value of that contract.
