I wish Miami would select a QB in the first round but I dont think it's going to happen…Andrew Luck and RG3 will be long gone before Miami selects and I dont see Ireland using all our draft picks to jump down to the 1st ,2nd, or 3rd spots to draft one of those 2 QB's . Instead I can see Miami picking up a QB in FA like a Matt Flynn to compete with Matt Moore and perhaps drafting a Qb in the late rounds. With all that being said I think Miami selects Luke Kuechly boston college!
He would likely play weak side ILB in Miami's 3-4 scheme. A luxury pick? Perhaps but an upgrade over Kevin Burnett wouldn't be a bad thing. Burnett finished 2011 ranked as the 39th best ILB – per ProFootballFocus.com and their proprietary rating system. Teammate Dansby BTW was 9th. Kuechly averaged an astonishing 16 tackles per game as a junior and was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year while also winning the Butkus Award, Rotary Lombardi Award, Lott IMPACT Trophy, and the Bronk Nagurski Award. While there may be more critical needs in Miami, this could be seen as a "best player available" move. Take a look at the teams left in the playoffs right now. How many employ the "best player available" approach? Exactly

There is alot of depth at o-line in this draft. I will be shocked if we pick another 0-line in the first round. But if we do go that route, That should mean we already took care of the QB position in FA and I'm cool with that

Good point PR the only way we could draft a RG in the first rd is if we take care of the QB position first in FA and I am cool with that also. I think protecting what ever QB we have is a priority and what better way than to have a pro bowl LG and maybe RG to add to it . We havent seen that good of a offensive line since the Marino days when pro bowlers Simms and Webb were around. Seems like you and I and Marvelman are the only ones that support Moore if he is the starter again . The new message board is wondering what happened to you they think you are in jail .
