It would help our organization out so much if we could save all the picks we would have to use to get RG3 and we could focus on Oline play mayb another WR or pass rusher. I think getting a qb via Free Agency this yr is the way to go…whats your imput?

Since when was RG3 worth all the picks anyways…..I rather role the dice on Matt Flynn! He has already proven he can play well in this league

Shaun Hill from Detroit is a free agent ..39TDS 23INT 61% comp and 85 rating those are great numbers for a guy that mostly has been a back up.

i have to agree with easton heres how i see the dolpins should draft
rd1 ot with out a soild ot on the right side it dosn't matter who the qb is
rd 2 te this is a real need last season was the year for te
rd3 de need to keep the pass rush freash
rd4 wr let me put a name out there mcnutt from iowa
rd5 qb for the years once again let me put a name out there wilson from wis
now that i open this can of worms just think about the qbs
1 matt moore did a good job this past season but he did the same a few years ago with carolina became the starter now his a dolphin history really not on his side
2 matt flynn only 3 start's i know it with our new hc this makes sense but lets not throw $$$$ out there for 3 strates even thou 1 was great
3 wilson ran basecally the same offence in wis sure his not 6' 4 but neither is drew brees and if the dophins can get him in the 2nd day it will be a steal
so in a nut shell keep moore , if flynn don't need a brinks truck fine but draft wilson for the future

I agree dont draft a QB Luck and RGIII will be gone. Sign Flynn or Manning and keep Moore . I know Manning is old but if he is healthy why no grab him he is a great Qb could have 3 – 5 yrs left in the tank .A young offense could learn alot from the old fart . Also Moore almost beat both the giants and Patriots there is no reason he couldnt start again. Flynn looked great against the lions and the patriots in his 2 starts would be nice to land him .

I say roll the dice….go big or go home..lol And i think Flynn is another kolb,if he was that good he would be starting and not holding a clip board.Green Bay is only promoting him to get a good deal for themselves.

How is letting Flynn hit FA getting "a good deal for themselves"? If anything, Flynn is trying to promote Flynn- and there's nothing wrong with that. Which team records did kolb break again- I dont remember..
Iowa- If we draft another OL in the first round this year? I will have lost all hope in Jeff Ireland- a supporter of which I am btw.
Biggest need is PASS RUSH- someone like a Von Miller, Adon Smith, or Jason Pierre-Paul is who I hope to get in the first round.
But as far as QB in FA vs. Draft- I could go either way.. If manning is available, its a no brainer. And if Philbin brings Flynn over, I will trust his judgement.. otherwise, I wouldnt mind either trading 1st, 3rd, and next years 1st (2nd if they take it) to VIKES for thier pick if RG3 falls that far.

I think there is enough talent on the Dolphins to become serious contenders if the right quarterback can be found. Drafting anyone other than Luck or RGIII presents a challenge in terms of matching existing potential with future potential. I would think going hard after Peyton Manning would yield the best results short term and long term.

Sign Manning, Flynn, or Quinn and trade away a lower draft pick or two to load up for next year. Maybe even drop down in the 1st round a bit. How far down could we go to still get a right Tackle worth the drop? I don't see saving a top 10 pick for a Linemen when we still need work.
There are plenty of decent back-up QBs in the draft this year. None (after Luck or RG) are really worth a #8 picik, probably not even worth a 2nd Rd. Then go after Barkley, baring some freak injury.
How has Devlin looked? I haven't noticed any reports on him after college.

If ths fins land manning, what if we kept moore at back up and persued another young qb next year or the year following to sit and learn behind Payton? We could def use some improvement on the right side of our O line and at saftey. Just don't know how much cap room we'll have if we sign Payton.
Got to admit though, the thought of having Manning on the team gives me the chills. Reminds me of the Marino days.
